Mini Shoots
Mini Shoots are any shoots that are less than one hour! You get 5 edited photos back. All minis are $50 and must happen in the DFW area. Outside the DFW area? Reach out! Let me know your goals, and I’ll help you find a photographer in your area that can help you achieve them.
What’s included in my shoot?
Outfit and Location Changes
All shoots with Cryptid Photography have unlimited outfit and location changes within your booked time! If your chosen location(s) don’t have a place for you to change, I will bring a pop-up tent for you to change in!
Edited Photographs
The pricing calculator above shows the number of edited photos that you get for your shoot! While the exact shots that you receive are dependent on the type of shoot, for most shoots, you will at least get:
- At least one photo in each outfit that you wear
- At least one photo in each location that we go to
- and (upon request) at least one solo shot of each person in your group
If you want more edited photos back, just let me know! I’ll take a look at your shoot length and type and see how many additional photos I can reasonably get without having too many duplicates.
Styling
During your shoot consultation, we can discuss your goals for the shoot and what type of photographs you are looking for. If you’re unsure about wardrobe, make-up, or props, I can help narrow down your options from your current closet or become a personal shopper and help identify what to buy. All costs associated with wardrobe and make-up are the responsibility of the subject, but I will source appropriate props for your shoot upon request. You’re also welcome to bring your own props!

Final Notes
Deposits and Payment Terms
All shoots with Cryptid Photography require a non-refundable deposit of either $50 or 25% of the total cost of the shoot, whichever is greater, to confirm your shoot. The deposit is due at time of booking. The remainder of your shoot price will not be due until you receive and review your photos. The watermarks will be removed from your gallery upon final payment.
No cash is accepted.
Rescheduling and Cancellations
Life happens, we get it. If you need to reschedule your shoot, please do so at least 48 hours before. You may do so up to 3 times. After the 3rd reschedule, your shoot will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited.
Your deposit is non-refundable. In the event that you need to cancel your shoot, please reach out via phone, text, or email at least 48 hours in advance. If you cancel within 24 hours of your shoot, you will be invoiced for an additional cancellation fee of $10 or 10% of your shoot cost, whichever is greater. No additional bookings may be made while you have an outstanding invoice.
Children and Minors
We love kids at Cryptid Photography, but every shoot has to have at least one individual over 18 present at the shoot, even if they aren’t in the photos. Failure to provide ID upon request may result in your shoot getting cancelled and deposit forfeited
